Classic Organic Veggie Pizza on Gluten-Free Crust. Guest Chef Ani Seker of Broke Ass Pizza in Houston specializes in mouth-watering organic, veggie, and gluten-free tasty pizzas. Hands-on Class, making the pizza, crust and the sauce. Saturday, October 14 at 11:00 am. $49.00 per person

 

 

Sip ‘N’ Cook – Middle Eastern Dinner. Join Chef Renee to cook up a typical 3-course Middle Eastern meal, surprisingly simple, amazing new flavors you may never have experienced. Za’atar seasoned Salmon, Creamy Basil Sauce atop Pearl Couscous, and crunchy Chickpea Falafel Patties. Wine served while you enjoy your newly created dinner together. Saturday, October 14 at 4:00 pm. $39.00 per person

Once you make your own, you’ll never buy pasta again! Pasta 101 ….and 2, 3.4.  Workshop. So many pasta-bilities in this workshop. You’ll leave with lots of inspiration, a full belly and complete recipes. This class is 3 hours long to give you lots of hands-one experience! Sunday October 15 at 1:00 pm. $65.00 per person.

 

Seen the $5 a bottle kombuchas at Whole Foods and wondered what all the fuss was about? Maybe you’d like to make your own brew and play around with flavors you’ll like. Kombucha Making & Tasting, October 21 at 4:00 pm. $45.00 per person

 

 

Raw Chocolate Holiday Treats & Desserts. Learn basic raw food preparation techniques while crafting White Chocolate Gingerbread Trifle, Red Velvet Truffles, and Chocolate Mint Ice Cream Sandwiches. For your next holiday get together or a late-night snack (or breakfast, no judgments here!). Great as gift ideas for the upcoming holidays, too! October 29 at 1:00 pm. $45.00 per person

Our popular Bread & Butter Workshop Continues. You can’t imagine how easy, fun, and tasty it is to make your own bread. And it only takes about 5 minutes to whip up homemade butter. Made to go together like, well….bread and butter! Saturday, October 30, at 1:00 pm. $49.00 each.

 

Fall Mini Preserving Class: Pear Walnut Chutney & Cranberry Apple Compote. Sneak up on the holidays and Fall dinners with these two fresh canning ideas. Or for gifting! Prepare and take home a jar of each along with recipes and full instructions. So many uses you’ll want to make up lots more jars once you taste these! Saturday, October 28, at 10:00 am. $39.00 per person

Think the Canning Season is over? Nope, there’s great canning in every season! Looking ahead: Cranberries, Pears, Citrus Fruits, Pumpkins, Root Veggies and more! Our Canning 101 Immersion Workshop is the way to learn how to can fruits, pickles and anything tomato-y. Everyone would like fresh, seasonal, healthy, tasty produce in their panty. You too? Saturday, October 21 at 10:00 am. $75.00 per person for this 4-hour workshop. Or Special: 2 for $50.00 each if both register together.

    Lovely stuff for October, Lyn. Particularly liked the Middle Eastern dinner, having lived in Beirut many years ago. Zaatar is a real treat…thyme and sesame, with sumac too! Great on chicken as well as salmon! Persian cooking, like your couscous dish, often using raisins, almonds, pistachios and other fruits and nuts is a special treat, too.! Yum!
