New Year – More New Classes!

 In General

Our debut month is here!  We are launching The Learning Kitchen in the Sweet Auburn Curb Market with a variety of classes just in time for the winter months!  New inspirations, healthy eating, DIY home solutions –  as our motto says: “Simple Foods, Simple Green, Simple Living” – ahead!

Looking for natural remedies for the cold weather season?  Look no further!  Join Christy in the kitchen and make up soothing sore throat lozenges, make a skin balm to treat cracked skin, and use healing spices and herbs to make comforting teas.

Wondering how to make a gluten-flour blend to substitute for all those everyday uses?  Pizza dough, pie crusts, breads – you name it.  Learn about the various seeds and grains to mix up the perfect GF blend – and then make up your own!

It seems everyone wants to learn about fermentation!  We love sauerkraut, kombucha, fermented pickles, kimchi, kefits, vinegars – and Cara-Lee shows you how easy it is to make fermented foods and beverages safely at home.

Three other classes already posted on Immersion Canning, Bread & Jam, and Pressure Canning.  Check out all these,  here:  https://preservingnow.com/

More classes and workshops along with pop-ups and other events coming soon.  Make sure you are subscribed so you are in on the exciting new 2017 at the new Kitchen!
